31.01.2024

The charity tour will run until mid-February, with the support of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska's Foundation. The tour covers ten of Canada's largest cities and aims to introduce Canadians, many of whom descend from Ukraine, to the most powerful works of the national musical culture.
The performance with the symbolic title "The Hope of Ukraine", presented by the theatre team, consists of individual parts and the top performances of the global repertoire: "Le Corsaire", "Giselle" by A. Adam, "Don Quixote" by L. Minkus. It also includes performances to the music of famous Ukrainian classics: Mykhailo Skorulsky, academics of the National Academy of Music of Ukraine Myroslav Skoryk and Yevhen Stankovych.
A series of concerts and performances were held in Quebec, Montreal and Ottawa. Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary are coming up next. Each performance of Ukrainian artists becomes a high-profile event, and almost every time our artists are joined by Canadian groups: the Troianda vocal ensemble, the Barvinok dance ensemble from Toronto, the Winnipeg Rusalka, the famous folk dance ensemble "Shumka" from Edmonton.
