News Victor Sydorenko: NATIONAL ACADEMY OF ARTS OF UKRAINE AT THE AUTUMN SALON IN PARIS

The project of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine "Light Will Win" will take part in the Salon d'Automne

15.01.2024

Dear friends,

The project of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine "Light Will Win" will take part in the Salon d'Automne, held under the High Patronage of the President of France, Mr Emmanuel Macron, and with the support of the Minister of Culture of France, Ms Rachida Dati. Our participation in the event was made possible due to the support of our patron, philanthropist Lady Dewi Sukarno and the Earth Aid Society Foundation.

The Salon d'Automne, an international event with a long history dating back to 1903, brought to the world the renowned artists and sculptors of the Art Deco and Beaux Arts periods. Representatives of the modern art of their time established the world fame for it. For 120 years, Le Salon d'Automne showcased the works of artists for whom it has become a striking exhibition platform. For us, the participation of Ukrainian artists in the Light Will Win project is an essential and significant artistic achievement. Contemporary Ukrainian artists will present their best works created in recent years, which have been challenging for the fate of our country.
The National Academy of Arts of Ukraine of Ukraine presents works by Ukrainian artists, as well as video materials related to the events in Ukraine over the past two years: a film within the documentary project CULTURE VS WAR, created in the format of documentary evidence and personal narratives - stories, experiences, and worldviews of people who are creators and at the same time defenders of Ukrainian identity and culture (director Kadim Tarasov, director of photography Yuri Gruzinov, producer Andriy Rizol, executive producer Alina Krasnyanska, EU project manager Marco Ferraro, creative producer Svyatoslav Rizol, cameramen Denys Duzhnyk, Oleg Ruz, Yuliya Bolshinska). The film ART WITHOUT BORDERS, created by the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (director Oles' Sanin, cinematographer Serhiy Kireev), will also be presented at the event.
