News Culture vs War Screening

On 31 August, at 6 pm, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine will screen the Culture vs War documentary short films-stories as part of the Concentration of the Will project

The screening event is organised by the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine in cooperation with the "Watch Ukrainian!" Association.

The protagonists of the Culture vs War short films are well-known artists who have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cultural figures who are engaged in active volunteer work, and through their own examples and stories they will introduce the world and Ukrainian communities to the values and meanings of Ukrainian culture that contributes to the resilience of Ukrainians against the aggressor.

On 31 August, we invite you to watch the first three short stories from the Culture vs War series.
The main characters of the film are: Antytila music band, Serhii Mykhalchuk (cinematographer), Akhtem Seitablaiev (director, actor).

The film tells the world about the values and meanings of Ukrainian culture that contributes to the Ukrainians' resistance to the aggressor, and about Ukrainian artists who have put their work on hold to defend Ukraine.

The Culture vs. War project was created by the Association "Promoting Cinematography in Ukraine - Watch Ukrainian!" with the support of the European Union in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the MHP-Gromadi Foundation and the Babylon Company.

The film is running for 80 minutes.

The screening will be in Ukrainian with English subtitles.
